Our timber frame porches are expertly crafted in central Pennsylvania using local hemlock timber and traditional mortis and tenon joinery. Each joint is shaped by hand in our shop to ensure quality and precision.

We install these traditional timber frame porches throughout central Pennsylvania, including State College, Lewistown, Harrisburg, and surrounding areas. We also sell timber frame porch kits to a growing network of dealer and contractors in other states.

As a custom timber frame manufacturer, we can build whatever size you need. We’ll work closely with you to ensure that your porch is crafted to fit your home well at the size you need.

We do porch installs throughout Central, PA. We also work with a select group of dealers and contractors in other states that will install our porches on your home. Traditional mortis and tenon joinery requires a specific skillset to install well, so we ensure our dealers and contractors are properly trained in installing our structures. Yes, we can stain your timber beams to whatever stain color you choose. We use a high quality, industry standard stain and sealer on your building that comes with a 5 year warranty.

In traditional mortis and tenon timber frame construction, it is common to see cracks (also known as checks) in the beams. These form along the wood grain from shrinking and expanding as the beams dry and as they are exposed to cold, heat, and moisture. It’s important to note that these are quite common and do NOT impact the structural integrity of your building.
